In December, the Office of International Affairs has prepared a series of exciting overseas study seminars, inviting speakers from various fields to share their study abroad and personal growth experiences. Whether you are a freshman just starting university or a graduate student planning your future, you are warmly welcome to join. Through these seminars, you can not only gain the latest information on studying abroad and overseas training, but also find clearer directions for your own career planning!

⭐ Event 1: Study Abroad Exchange Experience Seminar
Time: December 15, 12:10–13:10, Venue: Arts Center Lecture Hall, 1st Floor, Building 3
The Office of International Affairs invites students who participated in exchange programs at Gunma University (Japan) and the University of Texas at San Antonio (USA) to share their application process and overseas life experiences. The office will also introduce the Ministry of Education’s “Study Abroad Program” and NFU’s overseas exchange application information for the 115th academic year, helping you fully grasp the key information for studying abroad. ⭐ Event 2: Studying in the USA Seminar
Time: December 16, 14:00–16:00, Venue: Arts Center Lecture Hall, 1st Floor, Building 3
Interested in studying in the United States? This seminar will feature Darian Tai, Education Promotion Manager of the American Institute in Taiwan’s Cultural and News Section, who will present key points for preparing application documents, selecting universities, and navigating the application process. From evaluating universities, understanding trends, scholarships, and test preparation, to essential application tips, attendees will gain a comprehensive overview of planning for studying in the USA.

⭐ Event 3: Japanese Wagashi Handcraft Experience
Time: December 19, 16:00–18:00, Venue: S.T.E.A.M, Smart Learning Center, B1, Building 2
Interested in Japanese culture? Planning to apply for a Japanese exchange program? Join this event to quickly learn about Japanese exchange schools and experience wagashi culture by making your own DIY Christmas confectionery. It’s the perfect starting point for planning a Japanese exchange.

⭐ Event 4: Studying in Japan Tomorrow — Finding a Path Called Courage on a Snowy Night
Time: December 23, 14:00–16:00, Venue: Library 5th Floor, AV Classroom
This seminar invites Prof. Wang Guanyun from Fu Jen Catholic University’s Department of Information Management, currently studying at Tohoku University, Japan. Prof. Wang will share motivations for studying abroad, preparation, and application document tips, along with experiences during doctoral studies in Japan, cultural insights, mental adjustment, internships, and career planning after graduation. “Should I study abroad? Where should I go for exchange? What if I don’t speak Japanese?” Instead of worrying, take the first step with courage. Even if you are not currently planning to study in Japan, you can still learn from the professor’s personal growth and experiences abroad, and gain inspiration for your own journey.
