Educational Objectives
| The department establishes its educational objectives following a formal process, referencing core competency requirements for engineering students from domestic and international academic institutions and accreditation organizations. Input is consulted from domestic aviation industry experts, academia, department faculty, and alumni. After discussion in departmental meetings, the educational objectives of the department are set as follows: 1. Possess fundamental knowledge and practical skills in aeronautics and electronic technology. 2. Possess a foundation of professional skills aligned with industry needs. 3. Demonstrate professional work attitude and practical capabilities. 4. Exhibit a spirit of continuous learning and teamwork. 5. Uphold professional ethics and cultivate a sense of social responsibility. The first two objectives emphasize the enhancement of individual competencies, while the next two focus on self-attitude, interpersonal cooperation, and learning growth to achieve team goals. The last objective reflects a commitment to social responsibility. By establishing and implementing these educational objectives, relevant elements are integrated into the curriculum, cultivating students’ 11 core competencies as well as fulfilling the requirements of "AC 2010 – Accreditation Criterion 3". |
